Unizulu claim victory in 2025/26 SAFA King Cetshwayo Regional Playoffs

Unizulu FC were too good for the opposition as they played their way to become winners of the 2025/26 SAFA King Cetshwayo Regional Playoffs over the weekend.

The Stream B champions were up against Happy Stars FC representing Stream A, and Thuthuka Siyabakhumbula FC representing Stream C.

In the opening fixture at the Port Durnford Stadium, Thuthuka Siyabakhumbula and Happy Stars battled to a 1-1 draw, opening the door for the Unizulu lads, who soon stamped their authority on the playoffs.

They easily beat Happy Stars FC 3-0 before giving a repeat performance against Thuthuka Siyabakhumbula FC, again netting 3 goals without reply.

With 6 goals for and none against, they proved worthy champs and will now proceed to the KZN provincial playoffs in their quest to find promotion to the KZN ABC Motsepe League.
