WATCH: 400km push continues: Icons 4 Change clock serious mileage for South Africa’s children

RICHARDS Bay endurance athlete Marsha ‘The Machine’ Muller and her fellow Icons 4 Change are wending their way through the Eastern Cape on the 2026 Icons Journey Marathon.

The gruelling 400km run takes them from Alice, where they started on Sunday, to Mthatha, where they will finish this coming Sunday.

The challenge consists of seven back-to-back standard 42.2km marathons followed by 103km on a gravel road.

This is not a race. Hailing from all of South Africa’s nine provinces, the runners are doing this to help raise funds for underprivileged children.
