Police in eShowe seek missing person

Community assistance sought to locate missing Phumlani Vilane of Sunnydale township who was last seen in June.

Eshowe SAPS are seeking public assistance to locate Phumlani Vilane of Sunnydale township.

Vilane went missing on 13 June after visiting his brother, Phakamani, at his home in the Nyanini area.

He was last seen by his uncle, Khulekani Sishi, and his brother, Phakamani, at about 9am on the day of his disappearance.

King Cetshwayo Cluster police spokesperson Captain Siyanda Shangase revealed that Vilane is mentally disturbed.

“He was last seen wearing black Adidas slides, brown shorts, black socks, a mustard beanie and a brown T-shirt.

“We urge anyone who might have information regarding Vilane’s whereabouts to contact the investigating officer, Constable Nokwanda Dludla, on 072 3138406 or 035 4734200,” said Shangase.
