Fourteen people were transported to various health facilities following a head-on collision between a minibus taxi and a light motor vehicle in Empangeni this afternoon.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Main Road and Frankbull Road, near Central Spar.

The collision partially obstructed the intersection, while private ambulance services, SAPS, and the City of uMhlathuze’s traffic and fire departments attended the scene.
