IT was a case of ‘girl power’ on the Richards Bay Country Club golf course on Saturday when Marena Joseph and Tracy van Zyl showed the men how it’s done by clinching overall victory at the Seafarers golf day.
The duo utilised the scramble drive better ball format to their advantage, carding 52 points for their round.
They managed two birdies and eleven pars over 18 holes, playing off 21 and 20 handicaps respectively.
Joseph birdied the par 4 16th, with her partner birding the par 5 18th.
Tracy bagged four pars and scooped 39 points, with Joseph racking up seven pars and 45 points.
Neil Jacobs and Lizelle Jacobs finished second on 49 points, followed by Hannes Uys and Jimmy Terblanche on 48 points.
