eThekweni take cup honours
A Sundowns 'old boys' team played an eThekweni legends team as a curtain-raiser to the final
SPECTATORS were treated to a full day of soccer as the Jacob Zuma Foundation Soccer Tournament, partnered with the Motsepe Foundation and the uMlalazi Municipality, was played out at the eShowe Sports Club on Saturday.
A Sundowns ‘old boys’ team played an eThekweni legends team as a curtain-raiser to the final.
Ten U19 soccer teams representing their districts competed in the tournament which saw King Cetshwayo being defeated in the semi-final by the eventual winners, eThekweni.
They played uMgungundlovu in the final.
