Winter sport buzz in Bay

Fifteen local primary schools competed in the 10th annual Veldenvlei U11 Sports Day

VELDENVLEI Primary School’s sports fields were buzzing with action, when 15 local primary schools competed in the 10th annual Veldenvlei U11 Sports Day on Saturday morning.
Rugby, hockey and netball teams competed in 15-minute one-way matches, which resulted in fast action.
‘It is a real honour to present a day like this and we would like to thank our sponsors and the visiting schools. Without their contribution this day would not be possible. May everyone enjoy the day immensely and sport be the final winner,’ said Veldenvlei Primary School Principal Vivian Raubenheimer.
