NRB look for win on the road

Natal Rich Boyz set to tackle the Cosmos

RICHARDS Bay FC travel to Jomo Cosmos tomorrow, confident of securing their first win in the 2017/18 National First Division campaign.

Thus far the NRB record shows one loss and two draws, but there is absolutely no cause for concern and every reason for confidence.

The loss was by a single goal against log leaders Cape Town All Stars in a match that could have gone either way.

The two draws were by 1-1 and 0-0 margins and again plenty of spurned chances were the difference between one point and three.

So now they need to make amends against Jomo’s boys, who themselves have had a roller coaster start to the season.

They lost 1-0 to Highlands Park in their opening fixture then thrashed Pretoria University 5-0 before going down 1-0 to newcomers TTM FC.

The latter will be Richards Bay’s opponents for their next home fixture at the uMhlathuze Stadium on 24 September.
