LOCAL primary schools ignited the sports fields at Heuwelland Primary School on Saturday morning when competing in the 30th annual Asjas Steenkamp Sports Day.
Boys and girls competed in two rugby, hockey and netball matches on the day.
Schools that competed on the day were Veldenvlei, Port Natal, Arboretum, Rhinoveld, Richards Bay Primary School, Grantham Park, Grantleigh, Pongola, eShowe, Mtunzini, Heuwelland, Felixton College, Richards Bay Christian School, St Catherine’s, Richardia, Empangeni Christian School and Sodwana.
