VIDEO: Jennifer Rush to visit Durban

INTERNATIONAL singing superstar and 80’s icon Jennifer Rush will perform with an all-South African band at the Durban Botanical Gardens on Sunday 1 November 2015.

Her tour of Southern Africa ties in with her world tour to celebrate three decades of her mega hit ‘The Power Of Love’, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the best-selling single by a female solo artist in the history of British pop.

‘I am excited to perform to my Durban fans in a beautiful outdoor setting and promise them that it will be an unforgettable show and day of entertainment,” said Rush.

During her career, Rush has sold over 50 million albums and has collaborated with other international mega stars including Elton John, Michael Bolton, Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo. Her other familiar hits include ‘Ring Of Ice’, ‘Madonna’s Eyes’ and ‘Destiny’.

Also on the line-up is Cindy Alter, former front lady of multi-million selling band Clout, who had global hits with ‘Substitute’ and ‘Save Me’, will add to the nostalgia with her 4-piece band.

Garth Taylor, known for hits such as ‘Why’ will also entertain the masses with his catchy pop tunes that will be familiar to anyone who is into good solid pop music.

Tickets for the shows are R350 and are available at Computicket. Gates open at 3pm and Jennifer’s performance is at 8pm.
