Skembra to rock music fest

LOCAL master of spin Vusimuzi Makama, aka DJ Skembra, will be part of the uMhlathuze Music Festival at the Umfolozi Casino Resort in Empangeni on Sunday.

The well known deejay from the rural heart of eMacekane Reserve outside Empangeni, will warm up the stage before hip hop giant Emtee takes over.

Skembra is no stranger to the entertainment scene, and has been part of various festivals in KZN.

He kicked off his career while in high school in 2011, and soon after made a name for himself.

His house sessions at Havanna and Coffee Brown transformed him from a small town deejay to a hit maker with an impeccable record.
