Two women raped in KwaThema while walking home

KwaThema- KwaThema police have over the weekend arrested 10 suspects for various crimes such as assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol and rape.

KwaThema police spokesperson, Const Media Khoza, says two suspects were apprehended by the community in two separate incidents for theft and were arrested by the police.
“In another incident, two women were allegedly raped while walking home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“It is alleged they were approached by two men who attacked and raped them.
