Duduza has a new customer care manager
Isaac Bangilizwe (42) is the new customer care centre manager in Duduza.
Bangilizwe was born and did his primary and secondary education in Mqanduli in the Eastern Cape before moving on to further his studies.
After passing his matric, Bangilizwe enrolled with the Midrand University where he studied a national diploma in public relations from 1996 until 1998.
He then studied financial planning and risk management at Damelin. After his studies, Bangilizwe, who is a husband and a father to three girls and one boy aged between 22 and 14 years, kickstarted his career, working in one of the biggest banks in the country.
While he was working for the bank, Bangilizwe was elected as a PR councillor. In 2006 he was then elected as the member of the mayoral committee in Ekurhuleni for sport, recreation, sports and culture.
In 2009 Bangilizwe left his position as the MMC to look for greener pastures and joined the Vuza Group of Companies and then Entity Maps where he served as a general manager.
Because of his love for working for the community, Bangilizwe rejoined the Ekurhuleni Metro, this time serving as the customer care centre manager in Germiston in 2012.
Bangilizwe says when he is not at work he likes spending time with his family and going to church every Sunday. Bangilizwe says he is currently a public administration masters’ degree student.
His promise to Duduza residents: Bangilizwe says he will ensure that all the departments within the Duduza CCC render the needed services to the residents.
“Residents also need to understand that services can be quickly rendered if they cooperate with the municipality by paying for the services that they already receive,” says Bangilizwe.
Giving a word of encouragement to the young people, Bangilizwe says it is time that they stand up and make things happen for themselves through opening small businesses.
