Ground A at the KwaThema Sports Complex, was the scene of a humiliating 10-1 defeat for the U/15 Reedville United by Jealous Down (JD) on Saturday.
Reedville went into the soccer match one man down, due to an absent player.
Jealous Down opened the game with a goal by Lucky Dlamini (13), who scored with a cross ball, from the left wing position.
Much of the game was played on half the soccer field, while the Jealous Down goalkeeper stood with his hands on his waist watching his teammates score.
The game kept spectators entertained, Nkululeko Sangweni (17) and Tsakani Mnisi (21) added to the excitement by scoring for JD.
The battle was fought hard by Reedville defender, Nhlakanipho Masuku.
He successfully prevented Ecksery Oliver (10), from capitalising from the many opportunities he created with his skillful footwork.
By half time JD had scored half their goals.
Reedville came back in the second half more composed and made scoring attempts, which were saved by Keeper Thiwani Nkosiyethu.
It was in the dying minutes of the game that Reedville were awarded a penalty after their player was brought down in the box.
Katleho Lebaka made no mistake from the penalty spot, scoring their only goal of the match.
