Women who believe in prayer
Calvary Women’s Prayer Team invites other women to join them in prayer.
The team has existed for four years and was formed by women from different churches in Tsakane who believe in prayer.
It has 15 members who meet every Wednesday at 11am to plan their next step.
According to Cynthia Maimane, the team’s events organiser, they formed the team with the aim of bringing back hope to those who are in jail and to their families.
She says the team does not focus only on praying for those who need their prayers but also helps donate food parcels and blankets to the needy families.
Maimane adds that the team formed a gospel choir and that they sing at funerals and other events happening in the township and that their services are free.
Maimane says Calvary Women needs more women to join them and pray together for all the challenges facing the nation.
“God hears and answers the prayers of those who are faithful to him,” says Maimane.
