Church leader dies
The Langa family and the New African Gaza church members will always miss Bishop Titus Langa.
Langa from KwaThema’s Phumulo section, was born on September 25, 1936 and died last Wednesday at home after a long illness.
He did his primary education at Payneville Primary School and proceeded to Tlakula Secondary School to obtain his secondary education.
After a long struggle trying to register his church under the Southern African Council of Churches after the death of his father in 1986, Langa was appointed as a national chairman of the church.
Years later he was appointed as the founder and a leader of the church.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary Langa and children, Mongameli, Lucky, Theo and Mhlonipheki Langa.
The funeral service will be held at the New African Gaza Church at KwaThema Extension Five tomorrow.
The service will start from 8am and the cortege will leave at 11.30am for the Brakpan Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
