Praying for missing girls or Still hopeful

The cause goes on....

Asking for a higher power to intervene in bringing back abducted Nigerian girls, is one method used by those advocating for their release.

One such group is the Tsakane Ward 83 ANC Youth League (ANCYL) which, with the learners from Mangosuthu Primary School, met for a prayer on Saturday.

ANYCL branch secretary Sharon Mofulatsi said they made their way from Tsakane Mall to Sindane Park, and spent time praying for the girls.

Sharon said their actions come from the principle of ‘doing to others, what you would have them do to you’.

She said they were concerned by the fact that the girls were missing out on their schoolwork. Boko Haram had abducted them nearly two months ago.

“This militant group might be sitting with future doctors, presidents and other future leaders, and they need to free them so they can return to school,” added Sharon.
