Buhlebemfundo did it again

For the third time Buhlebemfundo Secondary School in Tsakane are the champions of the Inter-provincial debate.

The debate was held at the Swartklip High School in Mpumalanga last Wednesday.

Gugulethu Kunene got the first position for being the best speaker of the day, Luvuyo Msizi managed to get to the top 10 while Lesedi Nkopane was also awarded a certificate for being a member of the debating team.

The three learners got certificates and brought home the championship trophy.

Pele Ngwane, the school’s debating coordinator, said he is very proud of the achievement of the learners.

“We intend to defend the championship during the next competition,” said educator and debate coordinator, Mbali Dlamini.

She said on August 6 they are hosting another debate for the Grade 10 and 11 learners.

She said they are expecting 14 secondary schools in Gauteng and Mpumalanga to take part in the competition.

The competition will be held at CWC Church at Tsakane Extension Five.
