The Shadrack Mbambo Primary School buddies have extended their help outside of their school.
This comes after the buddies cleaned the Tsakane Mall last Thursday.
The buddies spent their day at the mall ensuring its cleanliness while also creating a friendly and convenient environment for the shoppers at the mall.
Under the supervision of their teachers, the buddies scrubbed the mall’s toilets, pavement, washed the walls and also cleaned the public chairs between the shops inside the mall.
Speaking on behalf of the school, buddies’ facilitator Mondli Buthelezi, said buddies are not only concerned about what is happening inside their school but it is also their responsibility to care about the things happening within the community.
“It is true that people visit a mall every day and we want to ensure that despite the fact that the mall is in the township, it stays clean and becomes the best place to do shopping, especially for the residents of Tsakane,” said Buthelezi.
He also thanked the school management, staff and the learners for the support that the buddies gets.
