New beds donated to Pholosong

The Springs Round Table's charity organisation donated beds and mattresses to Pholosong Hospital on Friday.

The excitement showed by the staff and the patients at the hospital is a way of gratitude that the organisation will never forget.

The hospital received 20 beds and mattresses from the organisation.

Thanking the organisation on behalf of the hospital, acting CEO Dr Ngila Bekoka confirmed that the donation came at the right time, after the hospital has been upgraded to be a regional hospital with not enough resources.

He appealed to the organisation for a good working relationship with them while also challenging them to bring more companies to assist the hospital.

“The organisation has been donating beds to the public hospitals for about 20 years,” said Leigh Michael from Springs Round Table.

He said before the beds are donated, there is a process to be followed of choosing the institution to receive the donation.
