Community of Kwatsaduza donates to learner

Thanks to a donation from the community, Noxolo Mamiyale can now attend university.

The community of Kwatsaduza has donated funds to Noxolo Mamiyale to go the University of Johannesburg.

Dr Brian Maaba established her account with only R500 to pledge that he will help Mamiyale to go to varsity. He says he is pleased and overjoyed that she finally is going to varsity to further her studies.

According to Maaba a lot of students, post graduates, parents and local businesses donated money to help when he opened the trust fund for Mamiyela’s tuition fees.

Social worker Grace Ndlovu from Matshediso L.S.E.N School says she was approached by Maaba who needed groceries for the learner.

She says local businesses and staff members from her school then donated groceries to the learner.

Mamiyela says she will be studying a degree in LLB Law because she has always had an interest engaging in topics which solve problems.

She matriculated in 2012 at Pholong Secondary School then had to stay at home for the past two years because she had no funds to go to school.

She says she is very delighted that she will be studying what she is passionate about.

Mamiyale adds that she is very thankful to the community of Kwatsaduza and Maaba for helping her fulfill her dreams.
