Company donates to local church choir
The Eastrand Male Symphony Choir received a donation of T-shirts from a company last Saturday.
According to Thabo Masike, human resources manager, the company’s corporate social investment committee identified the choir due to its dedication and community involvement in Kwatsaduza.
Masike explains the choir is a good example to the youth, as it has created an art form which alleviates substance abuse among the youth.
Secretary-general of the choir, Kagiso Mogaswane, says he is very thankful to the company for the donation of the T-shirts and hopes it will encourage the choir members to always be motivated in their craft.
“Its not always about what you have, but what you can give to the community,” he says.
He explains the choir recently gained more membership so the T-shirts will be of great help as they only had one uniform.
