Senior citizens can now move around in comfort
Tsakane - Three residents of the Tsakane Old Age Home will now be able to move around in comfort thanks to a donation of brand new wheelchairs.

The wheelchairs were handed over to the residents on Monday by the Ekurhuleni Department of Health.
Excitement was etched on the face of the recipients, Andrew Ranyao (63), Molelekeng Kopman (95) and Joe Mkhondo (87).
The senior citizens previously made use of old wheelchairs.
Kopman thanked the department for the donation and says their lives will be easier and more comfortable.
“Moving around is key, especially now that it is winter, and we like to go outside and enjoy the sunlight just before lunch,” she says.
“The donation also forms part of the celebrations of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day which we will host on June 11,” says Phoko Mokubung, manager of the Tsakane Old Age Home.
He appealed to staff at the homee to ensure the wheelchairs are always kept safe.
