The officers were patrolling along Mabaso Street when they noticed a suspicious-looking white Mazda 323 at 3pm last Friday.
KwaThema police spokesman Capt Mandla Phori says the officers instructed the driver to stop, and they searched the car.
Upon investigation, it was found the car was reported stolen in Pretoria at the beginning of June.
The two male occupants, aged 19 and 28, were arrested.
They will appear in the KwaThema Magistrate Court soon on a charge of possession of stolen motor vehicle.
