Ngcobo dies at 81

Tsakane - Arch Bishop Johannes Fana Ngcobo (81) died on Friday, at his home in Tsakane, following a long illness.

Ngcobo moved to KwaThema from Witbank in 1953, before relocating to Tsakane in 1958.

In 1968, Ngcobo served as the Arch Bishop at St Johns of Prophecy Church in Everton.

At the time of his death Ngcobo was the Arch Bishop at the New St John’s Assemblies of God, in Tsakane.

He will be remembered by his family and the Tsakane community for his humanity.

He leaves behind his children, Meldah Lekwane, Gloria Mokoena, Khabonina Ngcobo, Maria Ngobese, Philimon Ngcobo and Zodwa Mthombeni.

His funeral service will be held tomorrow (Saturday), at the Trinity Church, in Ndawandwe Street, Tsakane, at 8am, and the cortege will leave for Vlakfontein Cemetery at 1pm.
