Teenager electrocuted in class of Geluksdal Secondary School
Geluksdal - The Gauteng Department of Education has confirmed that a 16-year-old girl was tragically electrocuted at Geluksdal Secondary School on Monday.
Department spokesman Oupa Bodibe says it is believed that the teenager had entered the classroom alone when the incident took place.

“It is however unclear at this stage what happened to cause the accident.
“The district officials have also visited the scene today (Tuesday) and a formal investigation will be conducted by the department.
“Our condolences and sympathy go out to the family,” he says.

Tsakane police spokesman Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu says they have opened an inquest to investigate the incident which occurred at the school at about 11.45am while it was raining.
