Elderly man burns to death in his shack in Langaville
Henry Vilakazi (67) burned to death in his shack, in Extension Six, last Monday morning.
Langaville – Jacob Vilakazi says they were notified by neighbours early in the morning that the shack was ablaze.
“My father lived alone in the house. So the neighbours were always a great help in keeping an eye on him.”

Andries Radebe, who is a relative of the family, says although he got to the scene quickly, there was nothing he or anyone else could do to stop the fire.
“Community members called me from my house, which is close to his, but it was too late.”
“We also need to locate one of his children. She is only known as ‘Dodi’, and they believe she may be in Daveyton,” says Jacob.
