Taxi association calls meeting to address issue of bias

The Springs Taxi Association is inviting members to a meeting to conclude some of the issues raised at the special general meeting.

Springs – The chairperson of the association, Leonard Molo, says the meeting on March 28 helped him identify key issues that need to be resolved within the organisation.

“I have invited representatives from the registrar’s office and the town council to chair the meeting.

“This is to ensure all, especially any concerned group, see that there is no bias in the decisions that need to be taken.”

Molo says there are constitutional issues that need to be discussed as well.

“We want to demolish any issues of bias within the organisation and that is why we employ these neutral groups.”

He hopes the representatives will educate the members on how to deal with grievances within the association.

“My desire is that we will have everlasting peace after this.”

The Springs Taxi Association invites all members to the meeting on April 25 at 10am at Springs Town Supper Hall.

“There may be resolutions taken that will bind all of us, so I appeal to everyone to come,” he adds.
