The South African National Blood Service’s (SANBS) Springs Donor Centre is preparing for National Blood Donor Month, which starts on June 1.
Terrance Pillay, of SANBS, says they are experiencing a critical blood shortage.

“Every day thousands of South Africans make donations to the SANBS and these donors don’t just give blood; they donate experiences, opportunities and potential.

The Springs Donor Centre at the Springs Mall will have a big donation drive on June 16.

To donate blood one must be over the age of 16, weigh more than 50kg and have a safe lifestyle.
The SANBS Donor Centre at Springs Mall can be found at shop u27.
They open from 9am until 4pm every day.
