Mandla Sibeko, the chairperson of the forum, says the community is embedded with many young people who have given themselves to nyaope. The forum hopes to create a safe place where young people can use their talents in order to generate an income.

Although the forum has just been recently established, they have hosted three events aimed at contributing towards community development.

Sibeko says when giving back to the elderly, one invites blessings upon them.

“It is important to give back and do things selflessly without expecting any benefits,” says the secretary of the forum, Masello Mawela.

Gogos were entertained with music and participated by rendering musical and poetry items.
