Life Springs Parkland Hospital launches noise-reduction campaign
The campaign is the first of many to come as a result of the surveys done with patients when they are discharged from the hospital.
The Life Springs Parkland Hospital launched their noise-reduction campaign on Wednesday morning.
The hospital is on a mission to reduce noise levels at the hospital after a survey done revealed that the noise in the facility was one of the things they could improve on.

“The campaign will be ongoing and we have now started observing quiet time from 12.30pm to 2pm and again from 11pm and 5am.
“During this time, lights in the wards will be switched off, no visitors allowed and staff will have to work and speak quietly,” says matron Sophie Sibisi.
