Mazibuko lends a helping hand to Langaville residents.
In addition to the parcels, they also donated 30 pairs of school shoes to children in those homes.
Langaville – On December 29, 2018, Sipho Mazibuko hosted an event where he gave food parcels to families in Langaville Extension Seven.
Mazibuko, a concerned citizen who also works with the Maiyibuye Foundation which teaches children art, says he got the idea while working with the children.
“I noticed some of the children were wanting and thought to help them with more than just old clothes, as many do at the end of the year,” he says.
“I went house to house and my initial thoughts were confirmed, I knew I had to do something.”
He wrote letters to various business people who assisted him in putting together the 40 parcels he presented.

In addition to the parcels, they also donated 30 pairs of school shoes to children in those homes.
During the event, Mazibuko handed out pizza donated by Debonairs Pizza.
The elderly, who made up the bulk of the recipients, were pleased with their parcels.
Because of this, Mazibuko intends to make the initiative a monthly occurrence under the NGO he is currently registering, Isinamuva Initiative.
“I think it is important for the youth to help other families who are not as fortunate as we are instead of wasting our money on drugs and alcohol,” Mazibuko concluded.
