Help police find man’s family

“They only know he was from Pietermaritzburg and came to KwaThema searching for his uncle."

KwaThema – Members of the police need urgent help in tracking down the family of a man, known as Mzobe Lindokuhle Petros, born on November 25, 1982.

He was fatally shot at Lindelani informal settlement on January 12.

KwaThema police spokesperson Media Khoza says the residents in the area allegedly don’t know the victim.

“They only know he was from Pietermaritzburg and came to KwaThema searching for his uncle.

“He was given temporary shelter at KwaThema Hospital,” she says.

The motive for his murder is unknown. However, investigations are still underway.

Khoza says his body has been lying in the government mortuary for the past two months.

“The police are urging the residents with information about the family to come forward,” she says.
