Kwatsaduza – The Gauteng Sports Confederation is a macro-body responsible for coordination and monitoring of the various sport federations in Ekurhuleni.
At present, they are on a campaign to form and revive the local and regional sport confederations in Ekurhuleni. Ultimately, the Ekurhuleni District Sport Confederation will have its elective conference in August and September.
All the 20 local sport confederations, popularly known as the customer care centres (CCC’s) and regional sport confederations (A, B, C, D, E & F), are to get ready for the revival and formalisation on July 13 and 27 respectively at the Faranani Community Hall.

The following areas that have not been formed need to get themselves together by their local sport codes to organise themselves through their allocated officials from Ekurhuleni Sport Confederation. They must adopt draft constitutions and then elect their local sport confederation executive committees: Boksburg, Benoni, Brakpan, Daveyton, Edenvale, Etwatwa, Nigel, Kempton Park, Tembisa 1, and Tembisa 2.
Ten other local sport confederations are already formed, ready and waiting for the above areas to form so that they could come together to form the regional sport confederations.
