Daveyton – On July 20, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrested two males at the Daveyton hostel during a routine crime prevention patrol.
The pair was found in possession of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of R3 000.

Four quarter moon rocks and five small pieces of rocks of crack cocaine were found on the suspects as well as cash amounting to R395.
The arrested pair, aged 19 and 25, was charged at Daveyton Police Station for possession and dealing in illicit substances.
They are expected to appear in the Daveyton Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
