Duduza – Police are investigating a case of murder after a man died after allegedly being stabbed in a tavern in Bluegumview on Saturday.
It is alleged the deceased was drinking beer with his friends when he noticed that his cellphone was missing.
“He then decided to ask the people sitting next to him. They, out of anger, retaliated and hit him with a broken beer bottle on the head.
Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka says the deceased walked out and went to his house after declaring that he was not interested in fighting, but only wanted his cellphone.
