R37-million invested in local business chambers
The chambers will be entitled to an annual withdrawal of R500 000.
The Ekurhuleni Peermont Chambers of Commerce Trust (EPCoCT) has allocated over R37-million to eight Ekurhuleni-based business chambers, including the Duduza Business Chamber.
Each of the eight chambers has been allocated R4.7-m of which R1-m has already been made available, while the remaining R3.7-m will be held in escrow and managed by Discovery Invest on the chambers’ behalf.
The chambers will be entitled to an annual withdrawal of R500 000.

The eight chambers of business that will benefit from the trust are Duduza Business Chamber, Etwatwa Daveyton Kingsway and Wattville Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Greater Boksburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Greater Thembisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, South African Black Hawkers and Micro Business Association, Boksburg Business Chamber, Daveyton Wattville Business Chamber, and Thembisa Business Chamber.
