“I have tried raising this issue many times, but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears as people continue to use this open space as a dumping site.
“You will find all kinds of waste here, from soiled nappies to dead animals,” he said.
According to Ngwepe, the situation is starting to affect him and his family’s health.

“Spring is here and it is about to get hot.
“The smell is already unbearable and you can only imagine the hell we will be living in when it is hot.
“This is also starting to affect my business, because no one wants to work in a smelly and unhealthy environment,” he explained.
Ngwepe pleaded with community members to stop dumping rubbish near his home.
