Tsakani – The National Lottery Operator (ITHUBA) has announced that one of the two players who won the October 24 lottery draw is a resident of Tsakani.
It has been reported that the anonymous winner is a priest who has been praying for financial freedom for a while. He has been praying for God’s intervention to be able to support his two children and the church.
The second ticket was purchased in Lichtenburg, North West.

The two winners will share the R14-million prize. In a statement released by ITHUBA, it was revealed both players purchased their tickets for R20 and both selected the winning numbers manually.
ITHUBA spokesperson Busisiwe Msizi said the players will each receive a payout of R7 200 270.60.
“There has not been more than one millionaire jackpot winner since January 2018, where four people won a share of the R100-m Lotto jackpot.

“While we have seen a number of winners in the same division payout and even on the Daily Lotto jackpot, we have not had more than one millionaire jackpot winner from the same draw since 2018.
“We are intrigued that not only did the players win the same jackpot, but they both selected their numbers manually, with the same ticket wager amount. It’s amazing,” she said.
