Club takes a hike for sisterhood

Kwa-Thema – Women of all ages joined AmaGabhadiya for a hike at Suikerbosrand on Saturday.
“The event was a success. We want to promote sisterhood while we create healthy habits. We need to be there for one another as we face life’s challenges.
“We cannot only focus on physical well-being,” explained the club’s organiser Seipati ‘Mama Action’ Sothoane Dludlu.

She said a few pensioners joined them, with some over 70 years old, for the 10km hike.
Some of the fitter members took the 17km route.
The group holds work-out sessions at Bulithando Park at 06:00 from Monday to Thursday.

The fitter members of AmaGabhadiya tackled the 17km route of the hike at Suikerbosrand on Saturday.

“On Friday, we mix things up a little and incorporate working for not less than 8km,” she added.
The club encourages the community to join them.
“You do not have to be a member. We would just love to host you as a guest.”

Young and old members of AmaGabhadiya used the opportunity to connect and recharge on their excursion to Suikerbosrand on Saturday.
