Workshop for small business owners

Local business people encouraged to do business with the metro.

Kwa-Thema – Small business owners in the area attended the Trading Permit and Business Licences Community workshop at Kwa-Thema Civic Hall last Thursday.
The event was held to educate business stakeholders about the importance of compliance with municipal by-laws and other requirements.
They were advised the application forms for business licences can be accessed at customer care centres in Ekurhuleni.

For this the applicants will need to provide a certified copy of their ID, proof of residence, written consent from the owner of the property, a zoning certificate, certificate of acceptability and tax clearance certificate.
A trading permit and business license are issued free of charge from now until the end of December 2022.
