Suspected killer arrested after months on the run
The man linked to the murder of a 26-year-old has been arrested.
Tsakani – A suspect has been arrested for murder.
This is after a man was found in a bin next to the shops on Hlakwana Street and was identified by his father on the scene.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu said preliminary investigations revealed the deceased was assaulted the night before on April 15 at an identified house in the street.

“His body was found around 06:00 a few houses away from where he was assaulted. The arrest comes after residents notified the police about the suspect’s whereabouts,” she explained.
Tsakani SAPS station commander Colonel Goodall Khumbulani Mbatha welcomed the help received from community members on this case.
“We laud the braveness shown by the community members in leading to the suspect.”
