Tsakani family needs help rebuilding their lives after fire

The Jodwana family is pleading with good Samaritans to help them rebuild their lives.

Tsakani – The Jodwana family has been left homeless after their shack was reduced to ashes on Saturday afternoon.
The family has been living with neighbours since the incident.
Mashia Jodwana explained she had stepped out of the house to buy airtime from a local tuck shop and on her return the shack was on fire and people were already gathering to help put out the blaze.

Unfortunately, the fire had spread too far. By the time they managed to put it out everything was already reduced to ashes.
“I don’t know what could have caused the fire as I had not started cooking supper and all the appliances were off.
“I have lost everything and don’t know where to start to rebuild our lives,” she added.
They are pleading with residents to help them with donations of clothes, building materials, furniture and blankets.
