Teenagers encouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle

Thabang Xaba explained that through different stakeholders they will workshop the attendees on issues of sexuality, bullying, depression, life skills, leadership and substance abuse.

Kwa-Thema – Teenagers were encouraged to lead a healthy responsible lifestyle during the School Holiday Programme hosted by the Thabang Xaba Foundation at the Kwa-Thema Skills Centre.
The initiative was rolled out during the school holidays from Monday and will stretch to Friday with the aim of keeping the teenagers off the streets during the school holidays.

Thabang Xaba explained that through different stakeholders they will educate the attendees on issues of sexuality, bullying, depression, life skills, leadership and substance abuse.
“We saw it fit that we host this initiative as part of the fight against some of the societal challenges faced by the youth.
“We believe that after attending the programme they will be able to make informed decisions about their lives and be responsible,” he added.
Xaba added that they also shared leadership and public speaking skills with young participants.
