Kwatsaduza – Bad weather over the weekend led to women’s cricket teams not being able to play in Kwatsaduza.
The Duduza women’s cricket club coach, Thabang Mofokeng, said, “We are hoping that we will be able to play soon as we last played on October 29. The weather has been bad ever since.”
Kwa-Thema women’s cricket club coach Mandla Nkosi says he’s worried about how the team will finish the league due to the rainy weather.
The team is now on six points having played and won one game and drew three due to rain.
“The weather is letting us down. However, there is nothing we can do as no human gets to control it.
With the upcoming games, we have nothing to lose and everything to win.
“We have to win with high scores so that our run rate can be high to be able to get more points to recover from those we had to share,” said Nkosi.
