Three for Joy and Sparrows play their first match

First game for new ladies teams.

Langaville – Three for Joy Ladies Club launched on Friday at Cuba ground in Langaville Ext Six.

The team had its first game against Sparrows Ladies Club, from Langaville Ext Five, which also played its first game, and won the game 4-2.

Three for Joy coach Bongani Motaung said the ladies performed very well in their first game, showing they are willing to grow.

“This shows me that we can expect to play well in the future as we are willing to play in the Ekurhuleni Regional League next season,” said Motaung.

Vusi Mbatha, Sparrows coach said: “I am happy with my team’s first performance as I now know my team’s strengths and weaknesses.

“We are now ready to play in the league, hopeful that will be next weekend.”
