Rising Eagles hosts closing tournament
Two out of three games lost by hosting team.
Tsakani – Rising Eagles lost two of their three final games in the netball closing tournament they hosted on Saturday at the Tsakani Stadium.
The Eagles hosted the Underdogs and Superstars.
The Eagles U13 faced Underdogs and Superstars, meeting Superstars again in the finals where they won by 12-4.
U15 also faced the two teams, meeting the Underdogs in the finals and losing 10-16.
U17 only met with Underdogs, losing 12-8.
Eagles head coach Nelisiwe Marokwa said, “I wish to thank the teams that participated. We also appreciate parents for their support and for trusting us with their children’s talents.”
