Still time to register at Clever Boys FC
Football club hopes to develop young players.
Duduza – Clever Boys FC held soccer registrations at Sizwesethu Primary School on January 29.
Through the registrations they aim to recruit girls because the club will have a girls’ team for the first time. The club also wants to recruit boys for the U6, U8, U10 and U12 divisions.
The club registered four girls and 42 boys in the junior teams’ categories.
“The day was going well and we had a great attendance until the weather changed, then people stopped coming in numbers,” said coach Johannes Mokoena.
Registrations will continue on Saturday because the club will host trials for U15 girls.
On Sunday, the club will hold senior divisions trials.
The trials will take place at Duduza Stadium from 09:00.
