Kwatsaduza – The Tsamaya Masters Social Football League concluded on Sunday after overlapping with January because of the rainy weather in December.
Played by 35- to 60-year-olds, the league usually takes place yearly from January to December.
The league was won by Verbal Warning Masters toppling RDP Masters, the league title holders for five years.
Verbal Warning walked away with a floating trophy, a soccer kit and 20 gold medals.
“Our season overlapped due to the rains in December since we use gravel grounds, therefore sealing our year-long season on Sunday,” said Tsamaya General Treasurer Dumisani Dlamini.
“The league is made up of 16 teams from the Kwatsaduza area. We are husbands and fathers to our families, and we care about our health, wellness, social cohesion and sport,” concluded Dlamini.
