The U8s played Benoni Northerns in Benoni and lost by one run after having batted first. Kwa-Thema posted a score of 120/8, with Benoni reaching the target.
Kwa-Thema women also played Benoni Northerns. Benoni batted first, setting a target of 150/6 after 35 overs. Kwa-Thema failed to reach the target as they were all out after 87 runs.
Sunday
Kwa-Thema Premier lost against Actonville. Home team Actonville won the toss and decided to bat first and was bowled out at 112 runs. Kwa-Thema’s chase ended on 87 all out.
